Prenatal Support

Two prenatal visits. These visits include:

• A 1-hour planning and education session to review what to expect with a caesarean birth, and how I will support you through this experience.

• A 2-hour education session focused on how to prepare for postpartum, what to expect and how to optimize your recovery. We will also discuss newborn basics and ensure you feel confident and prepared to bring home your baby.

Unlimited talk and text throughout the duration of the contract.

Virtual workbooks and resources with ALL the information you could want.

Guaranteed availability on the day of your planned delivery.

Birth Support

All the support when your big day arrives! I will meet you at the hospital prior to your surgery for any last minute education or emotional support needs. If your birth partner is there to support you as well, I will wait outside the operating room while your baby is born, and then rejoin you in the recovery area after you deliver. If you do not have a birth partner, I will accompany you into the operating room, and support you the entire way. I will stay with you for up to three hours after delivery to help establish feeding and newborn care, answer any questions and to ensure you are settled into your postpartum room.

Postpartum Support

Two postpartum visits to support you and your partner while you navigate the early postpartum period. These visits are up to two hours in length. 

The first visit will take place within the first three days after birth (it can even occur while you are still in hospital). At this session, we will talk about your birth experience, how your mood is, pain management, how you are prioritizing rest, and how your body is feeling. I would love to watch a feeding session and offer support if needed. I will assist you with identifying any need for local resources or support, if needed.

The second visit can take place anytime within the first two weeks after delivery. At this session, we will review how you are transitioning into postpartum, provide feeding support, and provide any assistance as needed (infant care so you can rest, meal prep, light housework, etc). 

Unlimited talk and text for two weeks postpartum.
