Prenatal Support

Two prenatal visits. These visits include:

• A 2-hour visit for prenatal planning and prep. We will review your birth preferences, make our plan for when you go into labour and what tools and techniques you wish to try during the labour process. We will also practice comfort measures and coping techniques, as well as review the stages of labour, the right time to call, and how to prepare for labour and postpartum.

• A  1-hour hands on movement session. This session will help relieve any pregnancy related discomforts, and ready your body for birth. These positions will encourage your baby to be in the best position possible for your upcoming birth. This visit occurs around 40 weeks.

Unlimited talk and text throughout the duration of the contract.

Printed workbooks and resources that cover ALL THE THINGS pertaining to pregnancy, birth, postpartum and newborn care

24/7 on-call support as agreed (typically with guaranteed coverage for 39-41 weeks of pregnancy)

Birth Support

All the support when your big day arrives! Support starts as text/phone support during the early stage. Once you are ready for additional support, I will join you while you labour at home, providing comfort techniques and non-medical pain management tools to help you through contractions. I will also suggest labouring positions to best support fetal position and descent. When you are ready, I will follow you to the birthing centre or hospital to continue our support for the remainder of your labour and delivery. If you are planning a home delivery, I will join you at home when ready, and stay with you until after the birth of your baby.

Up to three hours of immediate post-birth support to help establish feeding and newborn care and to make sure that you are settled into your postpartum room, or on your way back home. If you are at home, I will stay for the newborn assessment and to ensure that feeding is going well. When you are ready to settle in with your new family, I will leave you to it!

Postpartum Support

One postpartum visit to support you and your partner while you navigate the early postpartum period. This visit is up to two hours in length. 

This visit will take place within the first three days after birth. We will talk about your birth experience, how your mood is, how you are prioritizing rest, and how your body is feeling. I would love to see a feeding session and offer support as needed. If you require any additional services or support, I will help you find local providers.

Unlimited talk and text for one week postpartum.
